A flight attendant forced me to kneel on a plane while I was pregnant – Her reason shocked me

Kayla, grieving the loss of her grandmother, was preparing to return home after the funeral. But when she boarded her flight, she had no idea the nightmare that awaited her. Following a misunderstanding about her identity, Kayla had no choice but to rely on her intelligence and quick thinking to get out of the mess she found herself in.

After a few long days of grieving, I was ready to collapse into my own bed. I was six months pregnant and emotionally exhausted from my grandmother’s funeral.

The funeral had been difficult, but it was a poignant farewell to a woman who had been my rock throughout my life.

“Are you sure you want to leave today?” my mother asked me as I packed my suitcase. “You can wait a few days if you need to get over this loss.”

I smiled at him sadly.

“I know,” I said. “But I have to get back to work and see Colin. You know my husband can barely manage without me.”

“I guess it’s a good idea for you to be in your comfort zone,” she said. “But Dad and I decided to stay until the end of the week just to clean Grandma’s house and finish everything that needs to be done. I know Dad can’t wait to get home.”

“I just wish Grandma was here to see the baby,” I said, stroking my belly with my hand. “It’s what I’ve always wanted.”

“I know, darling,” my mother said. “I wish you and Grandma could have had this moment, but that’s okay, sweetheart. At least you were there at the end, when Grandma needed you most.”

Now I was navigating the long lines at the airport. I hated flying, but it was much easier to get home by plane than by car. I couldn’t spend twelve hours in a car with my bladder waging war on me.

Finally, I managed to board the plane, ready for the trip back to my husband.

“I’ll take that, ma’am,” a flight attendant told me, reaching out to take my bag.

“Thank you,” I said, settling into my seat, my body crying out for rest.

“Oh, I hate flying,” said the woman next to me. “It’s the worst. But I also hate driving. I should have stayed home.”

I almost laughed because I totally agreed. I hate the turbulence that accompanies flying. I feel uneasy and anxious, like I’m completely losing control with every jolt.

As I sat there, ready to take off and go home, I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was staring at me.

As I turned around, I noticed a man sitting a few rows back watching me intently. His gaze was unsettling, but I dismissed it as one of those people who judges a pregnant woman who travels.

Soon after, the drone of the engines became a soothing background noise as the plane began its climb.

“Finally,” said the woman next to me. “Let’s go home.”

Little did I know, a nightmare was about to unfold.

Ten minutes after our takeoff, a flight attendant approached me with a hard look in her eyes.

“Excuse me, madam. Could you follow me, please?” she asked, her scent filling my nose.

I hadn’t intended to get up and walk, but her authoritarian tone left no room for protest. With a deep sigh, I unbuckled my seat belt and followed her to the clearing area right next to the restroom.

Immediately, his attitude changed.

“You must get on your knees immediately!” she ordered, nodding to someone I couldn’t see.

“What? Why? What happened?” I exclaimed, completely shocked.

“Now,” she said simply.

I was shocked and confused, but something in his voice made me comply. As I knelt down, I couldn’t understand what was happening. Nothing seemed right. I hadn’t done anything wrong.

Just then, the man who had been staring at me earlier came in.

“Where is the gold necklace you stole?” he demanded, his voice threatening.

“What are you talking about?” I asked. “I didn’t steal anything at all! I just came back from my grandmother’s funeral!”

He clicked his tongue before presenting a series of photographs and documents.

“That’s you at the museum two days before the exhibit was moved to the hotel. That’s you at the hotel where the necklace disappeared. We followed you to that plane after you ran away from the hotel.”

I looked at the photos; they were blurry. But they bore a striking resemblance to me, even though there were some clear differences.

“Look,” I said suddenly. “The woman in these photos has a tattoo, a scar, or something like that on her wrist. Look, I don’t have anything like that!”

The man examined my wrists, his icy hands pulling roughly.
