When we think of heroes, we often think of firefighters or police officers. They have the opportunity to be heroes more frequently than others due to the nature of their jobs. But anyone can be a hero in the right circumstances.
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, we may not even recognize someone as a hero until we see them in action.
In Ontario County, New York, the community experienced the stress and worry of a missing child. A 2-year-old girl had disappeared from her home, and everyone was on high alert. Among those who joined the search efforts was State Trooper Brian Hotchkiss.
